SWPS and The British Council as Strategic Partners
On December 4th 2008 an act of strategic partnership for the years 2008-2011 was signed by Prof. Jan Strelau- the Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs of SWPS and Tony O'Brien - the Director of British Council Poland. The two institutions will cooperate in the realisation of the Intercultural Navigators Project.

The Project is aimed at forming social leaders involved in the creation of a multicultural society, that would be sensitive and open to cultural diversity. The project participants, or "intercultural navigators" will propose their own social projects and apply for funding from the British Council.

Further to the participation in the project the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities gained access to the Partner Centre- a network of British libraries in Poland with the possibility of using its resources as well as the electronic platform used by the project's participant and the public to exchange information and experiences. The Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities will also be involved in all promotional actions related to the project.

Other forms of possible cooperation have also been discussed during the meeting.
