General Psychology

This specialization gives students an opportunity to gain general knowledge in psychology and could be treated as a basis to the development of individual career without a necessity to choose only one specialization.

Social Psychology

This specialization lies between Psychology and Sociology, investigates for example individual's situation in society, psychological aspect of advertising.

Clinical Psychology

This specialization provides knowledge about a social aspect of health; specialist from the area of clinical psychology may help in solving life crisis.

Social Psychology of Internet and Communication

This specialization teaches Social psychologists to understand and explain mechanisms being in force in modern informative society.

Neuroscience in psychology

This innovative and interdisciplinary specialization joins Psychology with a newest knowledge concerning brain functioning.

Psychology as a second major

This specialization is designed for individuals having M.A. degree or M.D. degree. Students take individual paths of education depending on their job experience, plans and interests.

In 2005 psychology major at SWPS received the only excellent mark given by The State Accreditation Committee.
In 2006 psychology at SWPS was recognized as the best in Poland by weekly magazine WPROST.
