English for Psychology
ENGLISH FOR PSYCHOLOGY is the exam in general English and the English used for professional psychological contexts. It is an upper-intermediate and advanced exam, checking a vast range of skills (understanding lectures, summarizing texts, reading scientific data, communicating with confidence in professional and non-professional settings). Successful candidates receive a certificate awarded by SWPS, recognized by many major English-teaching institutions in Poland. All candidates receive the statement of results, showing how they performed in each of the paper included. English for Psychology is for learners who are reaching a standard of English adequate for most purposes, mainly for scientific use and study. Success at this level indicates the ability to use English effectively and efficiently for social and professional purposes.
